‘Relation-Shape’ series is an ongoing installation work which started in 2005. The aim of this project is to visualize human relationship that we cannot see in reality. Using a stretched, half transparent large piece of fabric and asking two people randomly to get inside the fabric (e.g. a pair of friends, a couple of lovers, strangers…) in different cities on various settings around the world.
I am taking pictures of them to capture how they interact with each other inside the closed space under the fabric, freely without my instruction from.I develop my digital work and paintings from this installation. I use the shapes they produced and transform them into my work.
